Introduction to Acting

This foundational course is perfect for individuals with little to no prior acting experience. Students will learn the basic principles of acting, including improvisation, scene study, character development, and vocal projection. The course emphasizes building confidence, developing stage presence, and fostering creativity. Through a series of engaging exercises and collaborative projects, students will gain a solid understanding of the fundamental skills required for successful acting.
Instructor: Eleanor Vance, a graduate of Yale School of Drama with over 15 years of experience teaching introductory acting to aspiring performers. Eleanor emphasizes a supportive and playful learning environment, helping students overcome their inhibitions and discover their unique talents.

Acting for the Screen

Method Acting

Instructor: Alistair Humphrey, a highly respected acting coach and a leading expert in Method Acting. Stage Combat

This dynamic course teaches students how to safely and effectively perform fight scenes on stage. Students will learn basic unarmed combat techniques, including punches, kicks, slaps, and falls. They will also explore the use of theatrical weapons, such as swords, knives, and staffs. The course emphasizes safety, control, and storytelling through movement. Choreography and partnering skills are also a key component.
Instructor: Isabella Rossi, a certified stage combat instructor with extensive experience in theatrical fight choreography. Isabella has worked on numerous stage productions, ensuring realistic and exciting combat sequences while maintaining the safety of the actors.
