Students will learn the basic principles of acting, including improvisation, scene study, character development, and vocal projection. This dynamic course teaches students how to safely and effectively perform fight scenes on stage. Students will learn basic unarmed combat techniques, including punches, kicks, slaps, and falls. They will also explore the use of theatrical weapons, such as swords, knives, and staffs. The course emphasizes safety, control, and storytelling through movement. Choreography and partnering skills are also a key component.

Instructor: Isabella Rossi, a certified stage combat instructor with extensive experience in theatrical fight choreography. Isabella has worked on numerous stage productions, ensuring realistic and exciting combat sequences while maintaining the safety of the actors.

This essential course focuses on developing vocal control, clarity, and projection. Students will learn proper breathing techniques, articulation exercises, and vocal warm-ups to enhance their vocal range and power. The course also covers accent reduction and dialect coaching, enabling actors to convincingly portray a variety of characters. Emphasis is placed on vocal health and preventing vocal strain.

Instructor: Samuel Blackwood, a seasoned vocal coach with a Master's degree in Vocal Performance. Samuel has worked with numerous actors, singers, and public speakers, helping them develop their vocal skills and overcome vocal challenges. He's known for his patient and supportive teaching style.

Students will learn the fundamental principles of improvisation, including "yes, and," active listening, and character creation. The course emphasizes building confidence, thinking on your feet, and embracing the unexpected. Improvisation skills are valuable not only for actors but also for professionals in a wide range of fields.

Instructor: Clara Bellwether, a professional improviser and comedian with over 10 years of experience performing and teaching improv. Clara is a graduate of the Groundlings and has performed at numerous comedy festivals. Her classes are known for their high energy and laughter-filled environment.

This practical course prepares students for the audition process, covering everything from selecting appropriate monologues to mastering cold readings. Students will learn how to make a strong first impression, showcase their talents, and handle rejection with grace. The course includes mock auditions with industry professionals, providing valuable feedback and real-world experience. Students will also learn how to create effective self-tapes.

Instructor: Jonathan Sterling, a casting director with over 15 years of experience casting for film, television, and theatre. Jonathan provides invaluable insights into what casting directors are looking for and how to stand out from the competition.
